Beschreibung
We are looking for a Sales Engineer who provides technical assistance to the Sales Directors and is responsible for all pre-sales technical efforts.
Responsibilities Include:
Support the Sales Team in the Sales process:
Analyzing the ability to meet the needs of potential customers and putting together technical solution descriptions.
Presenting and selling the proposed technological solutions to the customer with the assistance of the Sales Manager
Help prepare technical response for Bids, RFI's and RFP's
Creating and retaining positive ongoing relationships with customers & partners
Attend trade shows, conferences, and network within the industry to keep Ribbon's position and communications at a high level
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering / IT or other relevant degree
fluent German and English language skills (min. level C1)
Familiarity with the telecommunications and Service Provider industry, its products, services and technologies
Demonstrates an excellent overall understanding of the telecommunications and Service Provider industry, its products, services, and technologies, such as:
IP Networking basics: TCP/IP, Subnetting, OSI layers
Routing: OSPF, ISIS, BGP, MPLS (L2 & L3 VPN), Segment Routing, RSVP, LDP, Multicast protocols (IGMP, PIM), Multicast VPN (MVPN)
Switching: MEF Services, VPLS, VPWS, EVPN
Experience with traffic generators and network protocols analysis tools - advantage
Experience in Network Management tools - advantage
Industry certifications (CCNP or JNCIP or equivalent) – advantage
Analytical and structured, good team player
Confidence in presenting technical solutions
willingness to travel (up to 30%)
