Responsibilities:
Department Overview
Payments division based at Frankfurt office has access to European markets and is aiming to grow its presence, especially in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), with an emphasis on multilingual capabilities to support surrounding countries serving institutional and NGO clients.
The successful candidate will be able to quickly develop a strong understanding of our product offering. You will be someone who takes initiative and approaches problem-solving with a proactive mindset.
Key Responsibilities include:
Identifying opportunities to grow and develop new business
Onboarding new clients and maintaining strong relationships with existing portfolio clients
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records
Sourcing leads through various channels
Engaging in direct and indirect sales approaches, including cold/warm calls, trade shows, and client events
Qualifications:
Sales and Industry Experience
0-2 years of experience in sales/business development / recent graduate with a flair for sales and support.
Prior experience in FX, payments, corporate banking, or treasury is preferred
Full-cycle sales exposure: prospecting, solution selling, closing, and account development, account management
Comfortable engaging with both SMEs and large corporates, and IDOs is preferred
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets
Regional and Language Requirements
Native-level German speaker
Fluent in business English
Proficiency in a third language such as Italian, Dutch, or Spanish is a plus
Existing network in the DACH region is desirable
Technical and Soft Skills
A recent graduate / A bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field is preferred
Strong understanding of payments and FX, preferably Treasury management
Consultative, value-based sales approach
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills (internal and external)
Collaborative mindset, but also able to work independently
Entrepreneurial, commercially focused, and target driven
Experience with Microsoft office, Salesforce, CRM.
