We’re Hiring: National Key Account Manager Retail (m/f/d) Join our team and become a driving force behind the success of Lotus Biscoff and our Natural Foods portfolio in the retail sector. As National Key Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and growing relationships with leading retail customers.You will directly report to the Head of Key Account Management Retail, you’ll be part of a dynamic seven-person Retail Sales team. In this role, you’ll not only maintain and strengthen existing customer relationships but also identify and unlock future growth opportunities within the retail channel. Your Mission: Develop and implement annual and long-term strategies to achieve profitable sales growth for your customer portfolio. Collaborate closely with the Head of Key Account Management Retail to align your efforts with the broader Lotus Bakeries growth plan. Drive success through innovative strategies and a relentless focus on building strong partnerships and delivering results.

Lead annual negotiations and ensure delivery on contract objectives to achieve mutual growth.
Develop and execute account plans aligned with the national brand strategy, focusing on product listings, promotions, and displays.
Foster strong customer relationships by building and maintaining a strong network with dedicated retailers, focusing on key decision-makers.
Drive growth through targeted customer plans, including KPI steering, forecasts and promotional strategies.
Collaborate with Category Management to leverage market data and implement growth initiatives.
Create customer-specific selling stories and act as a brand ambassador.
Partner with field sales to define and achieve KPIs for product range and promotions.
Handle administrative, logistical and financial customer tasks in coordination with Sales Assistants and other departments.
Share key commercial insights with internal and external stakeholders
Profiel
Academic Excellence: A master’s degree in economics or a related field.
Proven Expertise: At least five years of experience in Key Account Management, specifically managing national accounts.
Customer Insights: In-depth knowledge of the German retail landscape and customer structures within FMCG.
Negotiation Mastery: You prove a track record of successfully leading national customer negotiations, including annual agreements, promotional activities, listings, and more. You’re a persuasive negotiator with the determination to achieve results while maintaining strong, empathetic customer relationships.
Data-driven decision maker: You have strong skills in analyzing sales data using tools like Nielsen, Circana and GfK/YouGov, coupled with a solid understanding of fundamental sales metrics.
Operational excellence: Key account management processes are second nature to you.
Financial Understanding: Proficiency in managing KPIs such as ROI and margins, backed by a strong ability to work with financial and commercial data.
Language Skills: Fluency in German (full professional proficiency) and a strong command of English (written and spoken).
