As Sales Manager, you will report to the General Manager. You will guide and manage hotel operations effectively, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strategic growth, and high-performance standards while fostering a positive work environment and driving financial success. Proactively source and convert new corporate business within the local market, consistently expanding the client portfolio. Identify relevant global RFPs and champion your hotel with well-prepared business cases aligned to commercial goals. Act as a brand ambassador by representing the hotels at client meetings, trade events, sales conferences, and hosted experiences. Utilize CRM systems, business intelligence tools, and market analytics to track performance, uncover trends, and support data-driven decisions. Collaborate closely with Revenue and Commercial teams, contributing to rate strategies, forecasting, and performance evaluations. Support quarterly sales plans by executing activity across telesales, on-site visits, client entertainment, industry trips, and sales missions. Drive ME and conference business by building partnerships with national and international event agencies and direct clients. Provide timely reporting and share insights to inform strategic planning, forecasting, and opportunity management. Work alongside the Director of Sales and General Manager to align commercial efforts with the hotel’s broader goals. What You Will Need Minimum 2 years’ experience working within a similar position in hotels Effective communicator Be commercially aware with strong analytical skills, be able to understand key business indicators and competitive trends Excellent organisation and planning skills Ability to develop and build long lasting relationships through account management, and promote cross selling into Dalata hotel group Experience of working with global clients agencies Sales focused and results driven Knowledge of the Dusseldorf market is desirable About us Dalata Hotel Group – We bring the heart of hospitality to every hotel we own and operate.
