Sales Manager

About The Role

A leading global supplier of advanced automotive systems is seeking a Sales Manager to join its growing European sales team, with a focus on suspension products for Volkswagen and other OEMs. Based in Frankfurt, this role will lead commercial activities and support global cross-functional collaboration activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer relationships and all commercial activities for assigned OEM accounts
• Prepare cost breakdowns and quotations for new programs and engineering changes
• Lead commercial negotiations with key clients (VW, Mercedes-Benz, Stellantis)
• Coordinate customer-specific processes including logistics, quality, and change management
• Drive new business development and program acquisition efforts
• Collaborate with cross-regional teams to meet client and project goals
• Ensure alignment with internal sales procedures and performance targets

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or related field
• Experience in automotive sales, project management, or technical account roles
• Strong understanding of the automotive sales lifecycle and OEM engagement
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; basic knowledge of Chassis Technology is a plus
• Fluent in German and English; French or Italian advantageous
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Intercultural competence and ability to collaborate across global time zones
• Proactive, reliable, and organized team player
