Key Responsibilities
Proactively generate new leads through cold calling, outreach,
prospecting, and other channels to build a strong sales pipeline
Identify, qualify, and convert potential clients into long-term business relationships
Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs, challenges, and business objectives
Manage the full sales lifecycle, from initial outreach to deal closure, with a strong focus on new business acquisition
Maintain and nurture closed accounts for the first 12 months, focusing on upselling, cross-selling, and ensuring customer satisfaction before transitioning them to account management
Coordinate with internal teams, including Delivery, Legal, and Operations, during the presales process to ensure deals are structured efficiently and closed smoothly
Actively participate in industry networking events, conferences, and meetups to generate new leads and strengthen relationships
Contribute to Vention’s brand visibility by organizing and hosting company events to drive lead generation
Collaborate with Marketing to optimize business development strategies and enhance lead generation efforts
Prepare tailored proposals, lead negotiations, and successfully close deals
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field
Comfortable engaging with technical decision-makers such as CTOs, VPs, Directors, and Engineering Managers
Strong understanding of technical terminology, platforms, development lifecycles, and tools, enabling confident navigation of software development sales conversations
A proactive and strategic mindset, with a strong ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities
A results-driven professional who thrives in a high-energy, outbound sales environment
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships both externally and internally
Experience in upselling and cross-selling while ensuring high customer satisfaction
Comfortable networking at industry events and building relationships through in-person interactions
Business level English and German
